Ilia Belorukov and Andrey Popovskiy work together since 2007. In the beginning they played free improvisation, ambient and quiet music. Now they focus on researching the space, interaction between music and performance and they look for new context for found sounds. On “Pafka”, which continues the series of releases on Mikroton Digital, Ilia and Andrey work in the Experimental Sound Gallery, trying to find a fresh attitude in a well-known space, experimenting with instruments and means for making sounds.
